Spring Time brings new beginnings!

The major frost/freeze is gone the trees and flowers are starting to bloom. It’s time to wipe out cobwebs and do spring cleaning.

Windows are the eyes to a houses soul. Time to spruce them up with some vinegar and baking soda. start with baking soda and wet towel to remove dirt. Then rinse with some hot water. Mix equal parts of baking soda and vinegar in a spray bottle and wipe dry with a dry cloth. Lastly, with a soft chamois buff until it shines. In addition to cleaning, check windows for broken or missing seals and replace as needed.

Critters can crawl under the house and decide that this is a good place to raise their young. We all love cute furry animals; but, no one wants rats, raccoons, snakes or anything else living rent free.

Replace with pretty flowers, bulbs, annuals or even a small fruit bearing tree if your front yard has room. After a long cold winter your flowers, trees, shrubs, etc will need some nutrition. Every living thing on the planet needs good nutrition and your plants deserve nothing less. Look for plant food that is organic based with some worm castings.

In the backyard consider a planter box and grow some of your own veggies. Spring time is a great time to start so that by summer you can grill and showcase your beautiful yard.
